Blastingbot Blowback
Blast through 20 short and explosive puzzles about destroying enemy mech using limited ammo!
The Controls
Pressing Enter at any point pauses the game. From there you have access to volume controls and other options.
The Game
You control the mech Blastingbot and are sent out on missions to icy islands where you deal with enemy mechs using the only tool at your disposal - your blaster!
When you arrive you make a concering discovery: Your legs are out of power! You forgot to charge them!
No worries, you'll solve this problem the same way you solve every other problem - by blasting it away!
The Jam
This game was created during the two-week long MechJam IV. Big thanks as always to the organizer(s) of the jam, it was very fun!
If you enjoy mech-based puzzle games you might like last years MechJam III submission as well, BridgeBreaker.

Well, I had a blast! Clean, concise, and captivating. How did you approach making this?
This is my favorite of the jam submissions! (Unfortunately I didn't submit, so I couldn't rate it xd) I happened to try it on my phone - expecting controls not to work - and saw the cool on screen controls appeared on the lower half of my screen. I'd love to know how to implement that!

I can't take credit for the on-screen control though, since those are part of the HTML-5 export from PICO-8, so any PICO-8 game should have them when played in a browser. It's a nice little thing, especially for slow paced games.
